Historic Eastmoreland Fireplace Mantel Restoration
This historic Eastmoreland home featured a severely damaged original fireplace mantel that was beyond repair. To preserve the character of the home, we sourced a reclaimed 100-year-old Douglas fir timber and custom-crafted a new mantel to match the home's original Spanish Revival architecture. The mantel was carefully stained and sealed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding woodwork, creating the appearance that it has been part of the home since its construction. The original trim and picture ledge above the fireplace were also refinished and color-matched to complete the restoration.
